Several new items have been put in our online store in the last day or two, some a few minutes ago!

Just in online, and offline for that matter, today is the Ducati Corse Speed backpack and Ducati Corse Speed sports bag.

We’ve also added a number of interesting and potentially very useful tools which can be found here.

Ducati and Dunlop

December 7th, 2004

In what sounds like a very, very promising rumor for Ducati, and for that matter, all AMA racing fans who would like to see the premier class become an actual competition between more than two people, Soup is declaring that they have learned from souces that Ducati Austin will run on Dunlops.

Dunlops, the same tires the other teams are running, the same company that knows the AMA tracks inside and out.

The brief gossip is here.

Now if we can just keep the bikes from taking a bit of debris in the breadbasket at Daytona next year…

MCN loves the Mille, IMS pics

December 5th, 2004

Motorcycle news has made their thoughts clear; the Aprilia Mille is the best Italian sport bike.

The five-star evaluation, reserved only for the most incredible top-bikes and accompanied by the adjective “awesome” leaves few doubts about the intrinsic value and personality of the bike which Mcn describes as a “Sex Bomb” on two wheels.

Aprilia, being very proud of MCN’s verdict has excerpted bits of the article, which you can read by clicking here.

Our current stock of exciting Aprilia bikes can be found here.

Also, Pro Italia was of course present at the Long Beach International Motorcycle show. We snapped a few pics and chatted with a number of you who commented on our “LOUD CLUTCHES SAVE LIVES” t-shirt.

Images can be found on our PI Riders page by clicking here, our “LOUD CLUTCHES..” t-shirt is available here.

Note for those heading down to Long Beach for the bike show, Saturday from 11:00am-1:00pm and Sunday 10:00am-12:00pm, World Champion Doug Polen will be signing autographs at the Ducati corporate booth.

Also, after the detective work on the Ducati Austin team last week, Soup has an interview up with Eric Bostrom, here.

Gary Medley to Austin Ducati?

December 1st, 2004

Soup is reporting an as yet-to-be-confirmed rumor (they are working on it) that Gary Medley, former Scott Russell, Doug Chandler and Ben Bostrom mechanic/crew chief, has signed on to work for Ducati Austin. Here is the snippet as it stands.

*Updated: Eboz seems to think that Gary will be his chief.
