New items online and new items on eBay

May 27th, 2009

We’ve added some new items to our online shop. Along with the Ago replica AGV helmet seen above we’ve got some new Monster gear (exhaust, steering damper and carbon fiber), some useful luggage, a few cool Ducati patches, a new pair of Sidi boots and a Dainese CoolMax suit liner. Dig it all.

At the same time we’ve got some eBay auctions that will be winding up shortly. These include a few windscreens and some fork sliders as well as an older style Monster front fender (red). Our eBay shop.

MotoGP Helmet Contest continues with Mugello

May 27th, 2009

Our season long MotoGP win-a-free-helmet contest continues this weekend.

How to play:
Predict a winner for the upcoming MotoGP round.

Send your pick to proitalia.contest@gmail.com, along with your name by 3 PM the day before the race. One guess per person.

Those who picks 5 correct race winners over the course of the season can enter in the final race contest – choosing the entire finishing order of the final 2009 race. Winner of the final contest round wins the helmet of their choice (subject to availability ‘natch).

Enter! These last couple of weekends have been the most wide-open (with up to perhaps four possible easy-money winners instead of the usual one or two) in a while.

More items on eBay

We’ve put some more attic finds up on eBay. This time around we have a couple windscreens, three different fork sliders, a 748 radiator cowling and a Monster front fender. Dig ‘em.

Sale and eBay

May 7th, 2009

We’ve got a few remaining Arai RX-7 Corsairs left in the shop – four replica helmets. These are last years models and are now available online. Fortunately they are offered at a sale price, unfortunately we do not accept returns on helmets – the helmets we sell ain’t been dropped, even by accident. Here they are.

Also, we just put another handful of items up on ebay. One auction features a pile of older Ducati odds and ends - mostly small bits – from the description:

“Work on older Ducatis much? Older as in 916, 748, 996 and 998 Superbikes older? Need a grip of small odds and ends picked up on eBay for a song? Welp, then this auction is for you. We’ve got a box of bits, a lot of stuff, two plastic tubs of odds and ends that we are looking to move. This pile of stuff are bits that, at quick glance are for older Superbikes and Monsters. This pile includes a few small decals, seal rings, silent blocks, half rings, bushings, fair leads, o rings, various pins and clips, a couple of sprockets, seeger rings, a handlebar switch, 1 mirror, some random valves, a handful of closing rockers, a thermostat, a rectifier or two etc., etc.
Most of the bits are in there Ducati (and some Cagiva) bags and boxes that will have part numbers on ‘em for ID purposes although there are a number of bits that are loose.
The story is that all this stuff was in three smallish (say two shoe boxes sized) plastic bins and was trotted out the last couple of times that we had garage sales. There are few high profile items, as you can imagine they would be sold individually on eBay, but there are still plenty of perfectly good, useable parts in this group for the person who needs ‘em. Chances are the winning bidder will pick up a bunch of useful parts stock for next to nothing + shipping.”
